That place where a trace of something that is disappearing or no longer exists. The place where vestiges of what can be seen still burning away.
The vestige of a lifetime the memories, of where there were laughter, heartbreaks, and the cries, the voices that are now in flames, smoking and hashing, the vestiges of life, love to cease and nothing will replace them.
Can we find comfort in knowing that we still have some of these memories engraved in our minds, in our hearts, and in our souls?
The pain portrayed can be hard to look at, yet this mystical attraction towards the beauty of desperation is stronger than the will not acknowledge the loss portrayed here.
How can we not look at the beauty of the flames, the fascination for destruction, and the darkness of the ashes?
Our minds can analyze the different elements happening, but will surely refuse to accept and comprehend the hurtfulness, sadness, and tears of the smattered vestiges.
In the middle of the chaos, an old television lightning up the ashes, like a window into another world or dimensions right in the heart of the vestiges, there to remind us of what was actually in that place, a place of gathering a place of joy and a place of fun, now reduced to the smoking ashes that we can admire in this painting
