Artists Commentary:
This brings together elements of Hawaiian culture:  kapa cloth, palm frond hat, picture postcard of paradise, and fruits of delight
commonly found in the islands.  The cherries, which are not grown in Hawaii, are an allegory to represent Hawaii's connection
to the mainland USA.  A ginger flower's fragrance is unforgettable.
